FAQ
1. How are our products sustainable?
Ans. We consider our products to be sustainable in terms of our processes, i.e. right from sourcing, designing to manufacturing each piece by hand, and finishing/ sealing for durability and safety. We use reusable mixing bowls (silicone) which also enables us to crush up remaining material from our pours and use in other projects as terrazzo chips. Our production is not reliant on electrical energy as the majority of work is done by hand. The only energy involved is the positive energy of the maker passed on to the consumer.
Further, we use materials that are no VOC, non-toxic and are sourced responsibly, to ensure that we minimize our carbon footprint.
2. Do you offer returns and exchanges?
Ans. We return or exchange a product in the event of the product received in a damaged condition. We would require an unboxing video with all claims.
Please understand that majority of our products are made to order, are handcrafted from start to finish and it takes significant effort in finishing, packaging and sending them to you. Our products are breakable and we ensure that they reach you safely. This may not happen a 100 percent of the time, due to incorrect handling by the delivery partner. We will exchange the products once the unboxing video is provided to us.
3. I ordered multiples of the same product but they are not identical.
Ans. If you order two or more of the same product, they may not end up being identical as each of our products are handcrafted (often in small batches) making every product unique.
We do however thematically similar products in case of bulk orders as per themes & colour palettes.
4. My product has air bubbles. Is it defective?
Ans. It is common for jesmonite or concrete to have a few air bubbles. The materials are hand mixed and hand poured which might end up in a few air bubbles remaining on the surface once demoulded.
5. What do I do with the candle holder once it is burnt up?
Ans. Once burnt, stick the candle holder in the fridge if the remaining wax is not dry enough to pry out. Once pried out, wash the container with warm water and pat dry with a clean cloth. It can then be used as a stationary or brush holder. It can also be used as a planter.
